Scale and structure of the project major works:

- Gravity RCC dam, dam crest elevation: +95,55m.

- Length of non-overflow dam: 388m (total dam length: 571m),Hmax: 54.55 m.

- Surface spillway with 6 segment gates, dimension: 6(14x11)m operated by hydraulic cylinder, relief discharge p=0.5%= 4637 m3/s. Bottom outlet: 6 gates, dimension 6x(6x5)m, maximum relief discharge p=0.5% =2700 m3/s.

- Pressure intake,F=2.80m, design discharge: 38.1m3/s.

- Powerhouse behind dam, installed capacity: 6600 kw

- Van Phong weir: total length L=502m consists of 2 parts.

+ Earth weir: L= 32 m, (Hmax)=17,5m(non-overflow part)

+ Concrete weir (overflow part):width: 470m, (Hmax): 18m, relief discharge 1%=7376 m3/s.

- Irrigation canal consists of 3 main canals:

+ Van Phong canal: L= 32.42 km, design discharge: 18m3/s, total length of primary canal is 6.2 km and 176 related structures.

+ Vinh Thanh canal: L= 18.84 km, design discharge: 1.71 m3/s, 7 primary canals with total length of 6.2 km.

+ Ha Thanh canal: L= 2.87 km, design discharge: 0.44 m3/s, 5 primary canals with total length of 4.44 km.
