Van Coc IntakeProject location: Phuc Tho district, Hanoi Construction time: 2002-2004 Project managers: Phan Vinh Khanh; Nguyen Manh Cuong Project tasks: - Together with Ben Mam, Lien Mac, Tac Giang intakes to get water from Red river to supply to Day river for restoring flow in Day river in dry season when necessary. - Obtaining silt water in flood season, supplying water to downstream area for production and domestic uses. - Improving cultivation land, ecological environment, water navigation. - Not affecting flood diversion from Red river to Day river. Major technical parameters - Work grade: 1 - Design frequency: P=75% Red river water level with p=75%, at Van Coc: +5.35 Day river water level with p=75% at downstream of Day dam: +4.28 - Red river water level during flood diversion at Van Coc: +15,62 (corresponding to water level at Hanoi: +13.4) - Required water level without causing inundation in downstream area of Day dam: +10.74 - Design discharge: Qdesign = 36.24 m3/s Scale and structure of the project Opened intake consists of 2 floors and 3 spans: 2 intakes and 1 lock, upstream and downstream canals. 02 intake spans are located in the left side with 2 floors, in each floor, there are 02 plain gates sized (6x5)m, lock is located in the right side with 01 segment gate sized (8x8)m. The intake body is 24m long, 25m wide, thickness of bottom slab is 2.00m, thickness of pier is 1.8m. Upstream trench has a sheeting of 12m long for preventing piping Foundation of the intake body is treated by # 300 reinforced concrete piles sized (40x40x1200)cm Road bridge on the intake surface is designed with load standard of H13, bridge surface width of 8m, bridge length of 25m. On the intake crest there is a control tower. Total cost estimation: 108,403,000,000 VND (price in 2004) Total hits 53 - Last update 26/02/2014 04:34' CH |
